Frankie Jean Grange, 94, of San Antonio, TX passed away peacefully Friday, November 12, 2021. Frankie was born to Frank Houston Donovan and Ida Mae (Chandler) Donovan in Chillicothe, TX on May 19, 1927. She was raised on the Texas A&M Experimental Station. One of five families living on the station, they enjoyed the farm life. Frankie graduated from Chillicothe High School where she met her husband to be, Phillip Rhinehart Grange. She and Rhiney were married in 1944. They moved several times over the years, going wherever Rhiney’s job sent him in the Texas panhandle, finally settling in Spearman, TX. Rhiney passed away in 1970 following a second heart surgery. In 1977 Frankie moved to San Antonio to be with her daughters. Frankie is survived by her daughters, Frankie Jill Wieder and Jeri Pamela Nesloney and son-in-law Dolph Nesloney, grandchildren Jennifer White, David & Eric Wieder, seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, all of San Antonio. Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Frederick Donovan and sister, Wynl Calhoun. Frankie was a loving wife and mother and will always be remembered for placing her family’s needs before her own. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the La Cantera Assisted Living and the Heart of Texas Hospice for their special care of Frankie.
